Certainly nice on April 30. I might step away from Tedeschi Trucks and go catch Marcus King

you forgot
and the name of the band is Cowboy Mouth

(J & the Causeways should be pretty legit, and makes getting a better spot for Durand easier)

I almost always spend all day at the Gentilly stage but might have to switch it up this year

And why the downvote I wonder?

Want to see Gary Clark Jr., but don't want to drive 6 hours to NOLA .

Tedeschi Trucks is main one that makes me want to go to Jazz Fest this year. Derek Trucks is arguably the greatest slide guitarist of all time. I can't imagine going, and of all the bands performing, skipping THAT band.

Derek Trucks

I’m only going second weekend and just now starting to plan fairground itinerary. Listened to j and causeways and Durand Jones last night and I am interested. Thanks music board !

We should make this a fairgrounds music discussion.
