Heard an interview with Don Henley. He said that another member of the Eagles was sick of Hotel California.
Henley told him to get over it.....if there is 1 fan that waited his entire life to hear that one song live....they are gonna play it.

This is the correct attitude. Finally saw Van Morrison last year and he didn't play Into the Mystic even though they were selling Into the Mystic t-shirts at his merch stand. Screw that dude.

They dont have the old drummer, he died, and i dont like some of the new stuff.
Could have been a mixture of that. Also seems a shite load of people loved the sho and say it was the best ever. But im assuming these people havent seen foo fighters before. I saw them twice when i was younger and they were fricking awesome. But that was like 15+ years ago

The better bands know how far to take it, usually.
Some tend do it on just one song, or get a huge drum session going in the middle of a song that wouldnt be there on the studio album.
But not for the entire concert.
Oh dear god! i listened to the clip of him and his daughter singing at the concert. i cant believe OP had to sit through that.
Siding with Op on this one.

Just curious how old are you ?
You mentioned 232 concerts, what do define as major venues ... Superdome, The Forum in Inglewood, Wembly Stadium, MS-CC-Biloxi, the OMNI, Tipitina's, HOB, The Gorge, Alpine Valley, Caesars Palace ???
who are your favorite artists and what 4-5 concerts / venues were the best ?
I'm a couple of months short of 52 years old. I grew up in Mobile, So most concerts between 1-150 were here on the coast. Miss Coast Col for the majority, but also did some in Mobile, Pensacola and New Orleans. I have probably seen about 10 shows in the Dome, 2 at Legion Field, 2 at Ga Dome/Mercedes, 3-4 at the old Omni including The Grateful Dead.
In 2002 we moved to Auburn, so we did a bunch in Atlanta---Lakewood, State Farm, Hi-Fi Buys (alpharetta), Chastain and a few in Bham at Oak Mountain and BJCC.
Seen 4 in Vegas...and then like I said about 20 in the Biloxi Casinos and even one on a cruise ship.
