You can make a better strat than an MIA from parts if you have the experience and put in the time.

But you'll lose your arse if you ever tried to sell it.

FTR, I have a partscaster tele that I love. Body from Real Life Relics, neck from Warmouth, Seymour Duncan pickups, mojotone wiring, locking Fender tuners, Wilkinson compensated bridge.

I quit buying gear that I thought I may one day sell. I’ve got a couple of mjt/musikraft strats that I put together. I make them work for what I need. I have extensive experience working on strats, so I can basically custom shop mine.

It’s a changed world for gear. The buy/sell/buy paradigm isn’t working too well. Buy what you need. Make it work.
