Iron Maiden...Alexander the Great
God damn what a great song. It doesn’t get the credit like many of their more popular songs, but it is unbelievable. Probably because they have chosen to never play it live. The guitar solos are mesmerizing. Enjoy...even though no live footage.

A good one for sure - but as far as Maiden’s extended story songs - I’d prefer Rime of the Ancient Mariner and To Tame a Land.

It has to be a very difficult song to sing with all the names of that time period. Probably the reason it was never played live. You can tell there were times where it was sort of a tongue twister for Bruce.
