What a performance -- especially given it's 50 years later! Surprisingly tight. The older version of these guys did it justice.

The creativity, complex lyrics & song structure and harmonies for such young guys at the time is amazing. This is one of the great One-Hit Wonders that has actually endured and still sounds fresh and unique.

ALL the original musicians from Strawberry Alarm Clock who recorded the original version play on this -- including Greg Munford, who was featured on the recording but never joined the band (and has never been seen before till this recording.)

Also of note:

* Former Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Ed King (face not seen); Randy Seol (the blond drummer) who mimes the vocals in filmed performances of Incense & Peppermints (because Munford bailed out on the band before it became a hit.)

* This recording is from 2016.

* This was said to be Ed King's last performance -- he passed away in 2018.

* My next door neighbor, Susan and her cousin used to play 45s and dance on the other side of the fence. This is my memory of first hearing it.
