Don’t push your luck, pal. It might be time for the LA music thread so we can put the Cajun and zydeco stuff somewhere although the zydeco is a subset of blues music. Clifton Chenier is always welcome around here.

Just yanking your chain. You Treat Your Daughter Mean is jump swing blues that doesn't follow the traditional 1-4-5 12 bar pattern. I played sax on that one so I could stretch out some jazz licks, but it's still basically a blues song. I have been pondering that LA music thread and calling it Laissez Les Bon Temps Roullez, but I don't think The Wedgeheads, The Shitdogs, The Cold, The Psychobillys, Dash Riprock, etc quite fit.
How about simply The Louisiana Music Show?
