Just wanted to gauge the temp of the music board. I know DB and wanted to poke at him a little and Trill just became collateral damage. I also thought the board could use some conversation outside of the (insert band/artist) sucks and (insert poster) knows nothing about music because he doesn't agree with me.

I like all kinds of music, but if it comes down to my favorite genre of all I'd have to say it would be country...real country that is. Hank, Johnny, Merle, Lefty, Webb, and so on. It don't matter if nobody else likes it or not so if you don't like...

i like some old old country, i grew up with it, but i have to be honest i havn't listened to any new country since the dixie chicks and garth brooks back in the day. probably the last country i remember. dwight yokem is the man too.

If you wanted to here Garth Brooks do any real country, you would have to listen to his early stuff...after that 
DY had some good stuff. He brought in the good Bakersfield sound and some twang back.
I didn't really do alot of Dixie Chicks They had a couple of good songs I can remember in their earlier stuff.
