I recorded a cover of Van Morrison's Into the Mystic

Through Reddit I was able to find someone to remotely record vocals and guitars for this cover that my bass player and I did.
I thought he did a great job recording. His vocals are a little pitchy at times, but his guitar playing is SOLID.
He's also located in the Canary Islands which I think is super cool that we can produce a solid track so far away from each other.
Check it out and let me know what you think.

Pretty darn good, I do think it was a hair bit slow, and maybe that was giving the singer just a little bit of trouble. Maybe a little too much reverb on the vocal too, that guitar player did a really nice job.
I enjoyed it for sure.

I personally enjoyed the slowed down version.

Very solid job there. Kudos all around.

Very good man. Dudes voice and guitar is solid. The only suggestion I have is to play a steady ever so slight accented beat through the horn break so it’s not so staccato. It will keep the smooth grove of the song which is key on the bottom end while letting the horns do their thing. Btw, I didn’t even notice the bass player which is a bad arse compliment. He laying it down.

I appreciate the responses guys.
This was really fun to put together. I'll be doing more of these in the future. Maybe I'll even take a stab at singing one.

Yeah, please post some more of them.
I'm just trying to learn home recording myself, and I'm a computer illiterate retard. It's not going so smoothly for me.
I think I'm gonna buy an old Tascam DA 88 machine that uses a digital audio tape.
