How to get gigs playing music locally

I'm a 90s/00s country cover artist trying to find places to play around BR/Prairieville/Gonzales/Denham (basically anywhere). I do have experience (i.e. not looking for my first show).
Since Craigslist is basically dead, are there any good forums to advertise this service around here? Cold calling/messaging places on Instagram does not seem to be working and nobody really cares when I leave business cards.

Network with other local acts to open for them. Parlay that into headlining,

Go hang out at the places you want to play and get to know the staff and management.
