Historic Guitar Makeovers - Any experiences?

There’s a company in Florida called Historic Makeovers and their business model it to take historic reissues or any Les Paul for that matter and retro it out with refinishing and aging.
Anyone ever use them or anything similar? Their before and after pics are incredible and I’ve considering sending mine in for a while now.

Isn't that sort of like the girls that wear pre-ripped blue jeans?

They do great work but it is very expensive work. For what they charge just to "makeover" the guitar you provide them, you could fund a road trip or a plane ticket to the Dallas vintage guitar show in two weeks ... AND handpick a clean used R7, R8, R9, R0 that is everything you're looking for in a good custom shop LP.

That’s true what you’ve said.
My Les Paul is a 2016 traditional....nothing special.
Those cost of an R7-R0 is pretty similar to the cost + makeover cost of my current LP. I never felt a connection to this guitar so I just am trying to make it something I like more than the current look/feel.
PS...I purchased a Heritage H-150 a few years and that guitar is everything a LP wishes it was.
