A couple of months ago my computer crashed I had my hardrive restored. When I open my itunes all the songs are still there, but when I go to play the songs it says they can't be located on my computer. Is there anyway to get them off my ipod and back to itunes or do I have to download them again ?

It's looking for the files on your hard drive that aren't there. I believe there are some software programs that allow you to do what you're asking. I can't remember the names though. Try asking on the OT.

Its the filepath, what was the letter of the drive called in your other computer?

C:?

You have two options, delete everything in iTunes and then just add all your music files back..

Or change drive letters to match the filepath.. Ive had this problem with external HDs, for example my external was listed as the F: drive then I added an internal HD and it was then my F: drive, so when I plugged in my external it was now my G: drive..

So the filepath in iTunes is looking in the wrong place.

Okay, wait.. I misread your post, I thought you took an old drive that failed and put it in a new computer

You should try to delete all the files in iTunes then add whatever folder you keep your music in
