I love the crisp clear clean tones of my fender hot rod deluxe, but its overdrive leaves a little to be desired, but it actually might work well with the genre of music you’re playing. It takes pedals well, has an onboard reverb, and is just about the best value in amps one can find.
If you try one out, tune it to the following settings:

Drive: 2:00 o clock
Bass: 2:00 o clock
Mids: 1:00 o clock
Treble: 3:00 o clock
Reverb: 10:30 o clock
Presence: 4:00 o clock
