Have the guys at Mesa ever talked about doing a multi pedal?

There are plenty of other multi effect pedals that have Mesa/Boogie amp models, the Mark IV on the Digitech RP series is still my favorite high gain Metallica sound, but I wondered if Mesa has ever talked about doing a multi pedal?

Because Boogie first and foremost makes amps, not modulation nor time-based effects nor algorhythm-based modelers.
For studio and portable format, Boogie's rack preamps like Triaxis and OD/gain stomps like Throttle Box respectively emulate their classic amps.
We won't even go into what it would cost if Boogie made something like that in California like everything else they make. Digitech, TC, Boss, etc., farm those micro and complex circuit multi units out to robotic and cheap labor factories in Asia. That's the only way they are even vaguely affordable.
