Happy Birthday to BB King - 89 years young!

I had the great pleasure to interview BB one time after a show in Baton Rouge years ago. Was quite the experience to be in his dressing room, and then have Boogaloo come in with two "Ladies" and get to see BB talk to them.

I also got to see him probably some 10-12 times at Club Ebony in Indianola, MS where he started. He would come back and play the club once a year for his homecoming. Great shows early on, then it started getting very packed. Best was when I was standing in front of him and as he finished playing The Thrill he handed me his pick and walked off the stage

Love some BB, gonna be a sad day when he is no longer with us.
