It was the 80's. Everyone had big hair.
If you're gonna go strictly by that, then everyone was a Hair Band.
Skid Row was not a hair band. Musically.

Skid Row went heavier once they broke free from the clutches of Jon Bon Jovi just like Cinderella went for a more bluesy, classic rock sound.
