I just "rediscovered" Dan Fogelberg this afternoon. Had forgotten how freaking AWESOME he was. I used to say he was the best artist of the 20th century, and now I remember why. He was an extremely talented artist, writer and performer who died much too early.

My dad loves forelberg. We would always listen to “Run for the roses”. Great song. When my daughter was a baby it was on her playlist to sing to her when she wouldn’t sleep or wake up in the middle of the night.

I have a theory that any dusty stack of vinyl records in any flea market in America will have at least one Dan Fogelberg album somewhere in the vicinity. So... he has to be good.

I can't find the version I read, but the true story of "Another Auld Lang Syne" is very cool. She lives here in St. Louis now.
