I saw the Chevelle thread the other day on the OT
I ran across Cold (But Im still here) today and I pulled out the Evans Blue Album with this song ( The Melody and the Energetic Nature of Volume)
Who else used to listen to them? Not a bad album to go back and listen to!

First album was great, second was really good as well.

They're older stuff is really good. They have a new singer and they're a different band now.

Kevin the former lead singer fronts a band called Parabelle now. Sorry but he was the voice of Evans blue.

I actually think both incarnations of the band are really good, just in varying ways. Kevin Matisyn is truly an artist with his lyrics and his voice lent a unique sound to the "old" Evans Blue. However, the band wasn't going to get really big (read: make lots of money) with him as the lead singer. Call the "new" Evans Blue sellouts for going to a harder, more popular sound, but give them credit for being really good at it and continuing to go strong after such a huge lineup change.
