I’m thinking of pulling the trigger on this guitar. I’ve always wanted an SG. It’s in the $450 range. I only have a Strat, which I love to play, but I wanted a different tone to mess around with. The reviews online seem to be pretty solid. I was wondering if anybody had any reviews on such guitar and what you thought?
I’m left-handed so the used market for me is a lot slimmer than most.

Although I have no experience with that particular guitar, if you're wanting an SG style, I think that's a solid choice, concerning price and Epiphone quality. Gibson makes one for about $800, but I'm not touching a lower end Gibson.
ESP makes one as well, or used to. LTD 400, I believe?

I've had several Epi G-400 series guitars cross the bench for assorted tasks, none structural or factory defect/woes. They're solid little guitars, good workhorses, great bang for buck.
Being a lefty is a dual edged sword. Less guitars to pick from kinda sucks. Then again, lefties focus on a small handful of great guitars rather than a stockpile of average ones, so they usually have a power-packed small arsenal.
That being said, check the used inventory at Southpaw Guitars before you buy. You may find a bigger bang for your buck on the used market. Just covering all the bases.

My first electric was a Goya SG copy.

You might get a used Gibson standard for around $800. Not sure if you want to go that high.
