Saw them at Spanish Moon about 8 or 9 years ago. Great show. Crazy math rock band.

I'm a big fan of real Don Cab. It's just not nearly as interesting without Ian Williams. Apparently Baton Rouge's own Fred Weaver wrote a series of articles about the breakup of the band. He was the opener on their final tour.

The Peter Criss Jazz may be my favorite instrumental jam of all time.

On a side note, if you ever get a chance to meet Ian, don't dare ask him about Don Cab. Dude will lose his shite. He hates Damon with a serious passion.

Check out Battles. They're closer to the original Don vibe than what Damon is currently doing to The Don's corpse.

I listened to a little bit of the first Battles album, gonna have to revisit it. Also, I didn't know Che was still active with Don Cab.

It's not too active, he has made 2 albums since reforming Don Cab in 2003. Neither of them is on the same level as previous stuff. The last added vocals and just isn't very fresh.
