Here's my James Taylor story. I saw him at the UNO Lakefront Arena on a Tuesday night in 1994. I was there with my family, and enjoyed the music. But, I had bigger plans.
After the show, I left the French Quarter with a friend. We drove to Long Beach, MS to pick up a friend.
From there, we drove to Tampa, FL to pick up another friend.
From there, we drove to upstate New York for Woodstock '94.
Leaving the James Taylor concert, I spent the next 30+ hours in a vehicle.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and it was all kicked off with a James Taylor concert in New Orleans. Unbelievable.
