I am a big fan of 2005-2008 Weezy. He was experiencing what we in the hip hop industry call "the window." Untouchable. Going off on every track. Dedication 2 and Da Drought 3 are some of the best, if not the best, mixtapes of all time.

That being said, the amount of threads for this release is getting ridiculous. You are all just going to be disappointed.

Its all just a ploy to get more people drawn into wanting the CD and hopefully to sell or get more downloads. He pushes every album\mixtape he has ever made back to draw more suspense and to get people wanting it more and more. It's pretty obvious, and at the same time fricking annoying.

Nah if you look at his mixtape history lately that is where his good music is coming from. No Ceilings and Sorry 4 the Wait were both very good. I would expect Dedication 4 to be more of the same. There won't be any pop shite on there just straight hip hop. Wanye's mixtapes are always better than his albums.

Sorry 4 the Wait surprised me. Far better than I expected. I'm skeptical about D4, but I'll give it a few listens to see if it can win me over.

I can't understand people saying Sorry 4 the Wait was good. I used to be a HUGE Wayne fan and I couldn't tell you a song on there that I like. After that mixtape I've pretty much just given up.

Right there with you. I thought it was easily his worst mixtape. Normally when you sample another song's beat, you make the song better but he was just annoying.

If No Lie is any indication of what is going to be on this album, I see it being awful

Just listened to No Ceilings again. That came out of nowhere. IMO it is his best mixtape by a mile. Maybe Dedication 4 can have a similar path.
