His last album was his best work IMO. But I am a huge Funkadelic fan, which is what the obvious influence was. I was hoping he would do more of that but build from it.

I listened to that as objectively as possible. My conclusion is that it’s fricking terrible music. Good lord.

I loved it. Such a fun album.
Not sure if this one will click with me. I'm not really into that style of music. It's not bad, but just doesn't interest me.
