Cerwin-Vega Speakers

Does anybody have any experience with Cerwin-Vega speakers? Specifically the bookshelf model CMX?
Are they as good as Polk, Klipsch, etc.? Has anybody compared them in person?

Trying to find out the same thing, I do know that the power stated is the RMS not the peak. FYI

I prefer polk over cv, all things being equal.

From what I understand, Cerwin-Vega speakers are very good. May not be the absolute best, but they are up there.
The older they are, the better.

I find with Polk, the bass is deeper and cleaner with the smaller size, bookshelf speakers relative to other brands.
I don't find much difference with the highs at this level however.
