Tech's Collabo albums have been a sort of baby of his since he is truly one of those artists who really enjoy signing the talent that he thinks fits in with Stange Music (his label) and showing it off. This album is very different though as it feels a lot more like a complete album and has enough musical sounds to keep a lot of fans if his music extremely happy. He's getting better and better at the "Rock Hop" sound he has been at the forefront of developing, that is one factor that helps this album stand out from the other Tech collabo albums, the other..........the recent signing of Murs to Strange Music and he shows off both extremely well.

Tracks:

1. Stangulation I - The intro and breaks on this project are an idea I believe Tech got from Lil Wayne by putting together a Strange Music cypher to add in as small excerpts and Tech of course goes first. A great cypher beat to use to showcase Tech's machine gun style and pull together the style of the album.

2. Hard (A Monster made it) ft, Murs - I really like this track. It was put together very well with the style of this album, only thing I wish is if we could have had Scoob on this one (you'll learn from this review I am a Scoob fan). It's a pretty basic flow for Tech but Murs rips this shite down. It was a track for that obviously though

3. Over it ft. Ryan Bradley - This is a very dark track with a fabulous Bradley hook and a perfect example of Tech opening up this style. Possibly his best flow on this album also and add a bad arse beat even on the flips, on the hook, just an awesome solo Tech track. A standout track for sure.

4. Make Waves ft. Krizz Kaliko, Rittz, and Tyler Lyon - a much more simple beat on this track and again an awesome Lyon hook and Lyon really delivers. It's amazing how many of these tracks he assembles on this album with a totally different sound and even more amazing is the flows on this track Krizz

and Rittz both really shine and that was Tech's purpose of this track.

5. Nobody Cares (The Remix) ft. Krizz Kaliko, Stevie Stone, Wrekonize, Bernz, Ubiquitous, & Godemis - This one is a clear track to show the collection of artists assembled. Krizz does a nice job on the beat and hook and it wasn't really a standout for me. It wasn't bad, just dragged on too long.

6. Great Night ft. Ces Cru - One of the only throw away tracks on here and it still isn't that bad of a track, just doesn't fit the style of this album IMO. The hook is kind of annoying to me lol. Cru really smashes it though so props to them on this track.

7. Red Rags ft. Kutt Calhoun, Big Scoob, and Jay Rock - This song is my shite man! I love this track with these ecpxact features. Tech spits a short verse and moves out of the way and oooooh my on Scoob's verse. I loved Tech signing him for these type of tracks.

8. Strangulation II ft. Godemis, Stevie Stone, Murs, & Brotha Lynch Hung - More of the cypher with new label mates and an old SM vet to tie it all in and I'm glad he works Lynch on here and I wish he was on this album but oh well.

9. Which One ft. Godemis & Murs - A good flow from the features on this one, sort of needs work on the hook, but the beat is intricate and ties the song together. Feels more like a Murs style track than anything.

10. American Horror Story ft. Ces Cru - a much darker track added on here to exentuate Ces Cru it feels like. It doesn't fit the flow of the album, seems like a Ces Cru album track and to be honest it really doesn't exentuate the group either, sort of a throw away track. Not nearly as good as the other Ces Cru track earlier and the schizo beat doesn't help either. Also missed an opportunity to save this possibly by adding Brotha Lynch Hung on here IMO this is the style of track even with a crazy beat he can kill it.

11. Fear ft. Mackenzie O'Guin - Very intricate beat and a slower flow for Tech. Also a lot darker track but this one fits the album a lot better. Every now and then we get these tracks from Tech (like "Show me a God") that are extremely well done and shows a more vulnerable and emotional Tech over the sickness and death of his Mother, a clear turning point in his life. This track could easily be a standout on his next album but I'm glad he brought it and added it to this project. It's a great beat and well done.

12. Strangulation III ft. Wrekonize, Bernz, Kutt Calhoun, & Ubiquitous - More cypher work from Strange Music artists. Wrekonize kills it.

13. Na Na ft. Rittz & Stevie Stone - A really great beat man and Tech delivers on this track. This is 180 from the rest of the album and shows Tech's varying styles in this album. Also I'm not a big fan of either features as artists but both guys really work on this track, especially Rittz. This beat is just so sick. Standout track for me.

14. Stink ft. Krizz Kaliko, Stevie Stone, & Kendall Morgan -

Flowing from the last track from this one...another AWESOME hook delivery and amazing beat from Krizz and his verse is primo on this one. And then Tech just kills it, another standout track.

15. The Calling ft. Tyler Lyon - This track is another solo track for Tech flowing in and out of a great track crafted around the Lyon hook and guitar melody. Some more of a retrospective Tech on this one as well and unlike the other Lyon collab this one feels a lot like a ballad again showing Tech's amazing musicality and all the facets he explores just ON THIS SONG shows how much he is growing. It is an amazing track.

16. Strangulation IV ft. Rittz, Prozak, Big Scoob, Krizz Kaliko -

17. We Are Free ft. Wrekonize & Bernz - We get yet another totally different beat and style on this track. A track closer to something more like a SOTG as an anthem track that is very catchy. It was very hard on this track for Wrekonize and Bernz to follow Tech's verse. Very catchy hook that fits the song. I like this track.

18. Sut Mig (Bonus track) - another song THAT IS MY shite!! Should've made the album. Beat is absolute sickness and the hook is awesome and in the same style of the last track, but obviously a totally different subject matter haha. I get why it wasn't added though because Wrekonize was supposed to be on it and didn't finish adding his verse.

19 & 20. Straight Out The Gate (The Scott Stevens Remix) ft. Serj Tankian, John 5, & Krizz Kaliko - AWESOME remix of an already amazing song. John 5 crafts a perfect heavy guitar melody to add to the track to take it to a higher level especially at the end

a damn eargasm for sure.

21. Withdrawal ft. Krizz Kaliko - Another melodious very mellow track with a great Kaliko hook. The couple songs on this album Tech adds really work and makes this easily for me the best collabo album he's done. This one feels like a Krizz Kaliko track with a ridiculous Tech feature. A nice way to end the album.

Overall - 8.5 out of 10

Only 1 truly throw away track for me. The Strangulation excerpts were a great way to tie the album together. It shows how much Tech has grown and he brings all his label artists along with him on this journey. Also excites you about new artists like Murs and Ubiquitous. Overall I think it did what Tech's goal was and added to his already expansive catalogue another very solid project.
