Brit Floyd is the better band.

That's true, but they split off and Damian and Ian formed Brit Floyd.
Bobby Harrison was also brought to Brit Floyd with Damian to play lead. Personally, I liked BF sound better when he played with Damian. I like Edo but Bobby was fantastic.
I also thought Ola Bienkiwska was the best at the Great Gig. Heard her the first time in 2013 and I actually thought it was the best version I ever heard.

Both bands are really great. It's nitpicking to say that one is better than the other.

Looks like Brit Floyd is the answer to your question, I live in Nashville and am going to see them in Chattanooga on June 18, last I checked there were still reasonably priced tickets left and that’s an easy drive over from Franklin.

If you have something good to listen to it on, play the youtube video of them at Red Rocks 2016. Its not the full concert but its close and its a fantastic recording. One of the best Set lists as well. I was at that concert and I tell you it was fantastic...

Yup. Bobby is a hell of a guitar player.

$130 for two people is nothing especially if you both like PF.
Well worth it

Well last nights show in Clearwater was pretty good. We had seats just 5 rows from the stage and had some great views... They played Ruth Eckerd Hall which is my opinion is a much smaller venue than they have played in the recent years. In Atlanta, they have switched from playing the Fox Theatre to the Cobb Energy center which is about 1/2 the capacity. Looks like their ticket sales have dropped some in the past few years
For someone who has pretty much seen them since they formed, I will say that I think they have lost a step from the Pre-2016 concerts. Maybe it is the constant turnover of the band members, maybe it is just the effort, maybe it is me but the show is not quite as sharp as it once was but remember that I have seen them many times in may different venues...
The setlist was pretty good this year as they are doing a 50 year tribute to tDSoTM. They played all the tracks from the album other than Any colur you like and On the run. No sure why they cut those out but they did. They also broke up the album by playing 2 tracks at a time them returning back to it after a few other tracks. Not a fan of that. If you are going to give me Dark Side of the Moon, play the thing like it was intended and roll with it. Just my opinion. Sorrow, Not now John, One of these days and Pigs were spectacular. I have always said that the Darlington does the solo in Pigs about as good as you could possibly do it. He rocked it last night.
Being in a smaller venue it was LOUD. Im talking very loud. I think they brought the set up for the larger venues. LOL. Plus we were close to the stage
A couple pictures I took. I dont do videos at concerts and only took 4 or 5 pics. I usually spend my time listening to the music and paying attention. You just never know when you will get spat on by one of the band members.
Till next time..
