Definitely a band you have to let grow on you. Justin Vernon is an outstanding musician though, and out of all the current artist this is up near the top for me.

I think Bon Iver is just a hit or miss for some people. I love it, and in the right mood/setting it doesn't get much better. But like you said, it does have to grow on you sometimes.
