I envy you. This dude I worked in a lab with in college used to play reggae in the lab and opened my eyes to the non-Legend Marley. There is so much good shite. I wish I could go back to when I just discovered it. I still play it almost daily though.

Kaya and African Herbsman are tits. Check out Burnin' too. Duppy Conqueror is my favorite song of all time. There are two versions, one on Burnin' and and a slower one on Roots of a Legend I think.

I grew up in the Bay Area, and I have fond memories of KSAN, Jive 95, broadcasting Live From the Plant on Sunday nights.

then all of the extended versions dubbed out like punky reggae party, jah live, keep on moving, buffalo soldier from the later years.

the ksan sessions are great- sausalito would have been fun back then- I am across the bay in Oakland.
