It's ok, definitely hit or miss.

I have tried so hard to enjoy Bob Dylan's music, and I don't think I will ever stop trying, but I just can't get into it. What am I doing wrong? I like the lyrics but his voice is just not the best.

Have you tried getting into his early folk stuff? That's how I started and I still enjoy it more than his electric stuff. Although I like both.
