I'm an 80's kid, latchkey during the 90's. Lots of VH1/MTV in the afternoons for me.
When that first note hit and the screen went black/white, 9/10 year old me was mesmerized.
I didn't discover "Fade Into You" until much later, but damn that is such a good song as well.

Hm. Wicked Game more likely to incite action. Fade Into You is more of an afterglow jam, imo.

Both you and the poster above you made excellent points.
M/TV, that first guitar note, all so perfect.
Then later on I got into high school and Wicked was a terrific make out song, while Fade was the one that helped the hurt after a breakup.
Takes me back.
