I was lucky enough to have a pass to one of the VIP areas in front of the stage, which obviously made it more enjoyable. However, he was at the top of his game. One of the best sets in my 8 days out there.

Being the 50th anniversary of the Fest, he correlated it to 50 years of his performing. He also did something you rarely see at Fest--he had large video boards behind him like you'd see at a regular arena concert. During the whole set images of him, CCR, and topical historical references of the last 50 years were show.

Bastard Jazz was the best. Really hope they do it again next year.

first night of Phil, second night of Jrad. The M&M's late night at Tips, Otiel, Marcus King, and the Mule..

its easier to list the music i saw that i didn't like...
