King of the Rodeo

He looks like Andy Dick dressed as a woman.

Song's great though.

off the third album? that album has a few good songs on it, but the first two were really good.

SNSL w/ Vedder

Caleb showed me how to play this one night, although a very easy song, right before we shot some Jameson together.

Meh...I've been listening to them since Aha and Because of the Times was fricking phenomenal. I saw seeing them live when Caleb had long hair.

It's cool and shite to diss the KOL, hey the past two albums I did not care for at all. But they have families now. Lots of people depending on their success. I REALLY dislike Sundown, but I can't say I blame them. Dan Auerbach was talking about selling out and how when offered a big sum for a company to use their song for a commercial he talks about that paying off bills/mortgages, etc.

Call me crazy but Because of the Times is my favorite album by KOL. Aha is #2

Same here, and I've been listening to them since 2005. Not to sound like a superior hipster douche, I'm generally finding out about bands after most friends.

Never got into them. The market became flooded with the alt country thing after Wilco*. Hell, for instance, I cannot distinguish My Morning Jacket from Band of Horses from that other band that sounds like Band of Horses.

*Uncle Tupelo
Whiskeytown
Sun Volt
Lucero
etc.

Not bagging friend but I feel others did it better and first.

None of this matters though as it's just a harmless opinion.

letting companies use your songs isn't selling out IMO

Respect your opinion. Will never understand Wilco. I've tried. I just don't get it

Not for everyone for sure... I think the simplicity of TKOL is extremely catchy. I just can't deal with the phoned in vocals. I'm positive that the singer has a great voice, but what is he saving it for?
