This track still fires me up and makes me want to crack some skulls! I imagine myself as Brody Croyle scoring a game-saving TD every time I hear it.

I used the first Audioslave album as my running music in Iraq - primarily because of Cochise as the lead off track - Set it Off was a great mid run song - and I'd cool off to I am the Highway.

Meh. Audioslave is one of the biggest letdowns of a supergroup ever.

Obviously this is subjective - and as far as what they ultimately did with the project, I probably agree with you in principle - BUT, that first album was better than great.

I remember being super pumped...and then Like a Stone was the first single. Nothing could have deflated me more than that milquetoast nonsense.

Four of Cornell's best tracks right there. The first Audioslave album was really good but after that they were average. Still good though.

Naw, they had lots of really good songs. I still play the debut front to back regularly.
