On now...
B-52's--"Party Mix"...Warner Bros. Records, 1981.
This is a record with 6 songs that are extended and given a little bit of an "upbeat" treatment. I like the versions of all here better than the ones on the original LP's.
1. Party Out of Bounds
2. Private Idaho
3. Give Me Back My Man
4. Lava
5. Dance This Mess Around
6. 52 Girls
Great record!!!

Marco, have you ever come across a copy of James Booker - Junco Partner on vinyl? Nothing to be found on eBay or discogs.

KarlMalone...
I don't have it on LP, but there are a couple guys in my audio circle that do. I really never looked for it on vinyl before.

Well it's good to know they are out there - not sure how many though because the only pressing was from 76 out of the UK. Never a good sign when on discogs the want to have ratio is like 3:1
It's so unfortunate he was never embraced in America like he was in Europe - he's arguably one of the more underappreciated artists in the history of music.

I have a recording of him with the Jerry Garcia Band from 1976--Palo Alto, CA. He was actually a member of the band, but for a very short time (like 2 weeks).
Story goes he was putting on a keyboard extravaganza during the 2 night run in Palo Alto and basically blowing everyone else out, so Jerry had him replaced after that run with Keith Godchaux (from the Dead). It was also rumored that he was a bit hard to handle as his heroin addiction made him a little out of control.

That's a cool tidbit that I hadn't heard

No doubt about it.
His documentary "bayou maharajah" is on Netflix and is a must watch for any New Orleans music fan.

I read about the documentary not too long ago. I may try to watch it in the coming few months.
He died of cirrhosis due to alcohol and heroin abuse at a fairly young age--something like 42 or thereabouts.
