Anyone go see the Gillis Silo at the Texas Club this weekend?

Saw it all over Facebook that these dudes were shooting a video and petty much packed the place.
What's their deal? Anyone go or has anyone ever seen them live?

They're new country, which is all the rage now. The kind of people that 10 years ago were listening to Staind, 5 Finger Death Punch, and Shinedown are now playing similar music, just adding a steel guitar, a fake nashville twang, and lyrics about trucks, daisy dukes, and alcohol.
I did not go to the show, but i saw their interview on myscene tv, and i watched some of their stuff online. As much as I decry their genre, they're really not bad at it. Way better than most of the bro country hacks. If you even remotely like that kind of music, you'd enjoy Gillis Silo.

It's not up on their youtube channel yet. The episode aired last saturday, though. The show is every saturday at 4:30 on WBXH, cox channel 16 in Baton Rouge.

I saw their new video on Facebook today. Not bad. Not amazing either though.
