Anyone familiar with the Hollywood Bowl?

Saw dead & Co. for 2 nights last year and Phish in 2014.

For Phish, we bought poolside seats off stubhub—not cheap...about $550 each—but if I was flying across the continent for a single show, o wasn’t sitting at the top.

Poolside seats are the first 2 rows—they are roped off. Ours were dead center—incredible seats!


For Dead & Co., we sat about halfway up the bowl for both nights (there were 4 of us). Not bad at all...but not near poolside!

If you can swing the cost of poolside, do it!

I got some really great pics of all the Phish gear and equipment before the show being so close. They also have drink service too.

Not at all—-they are the best seats in the Bowl.

Last question: my choice is between Row 4 in the pool seats or Row 1 in the Garden seats (essentially the front row of the stadium, albeit more to the side than in the middle.)

Same price: which would you do?

I have 2nd row "Poolside" for Thursday's concert...which has been postponed due to - get this - Ozzy's "hand infection".
