If so, what was your experience? Any recommendations?

Been looking around at a few to mess around with. I like the ability to adjust sound levels through an amp so as not to get too loud, play along to music, and plug into a laptop.

I would give my left nut to get a Roland TD-30kv.

If we put our nuts together, maybe we could go in on one together.

Damn. Just damn.

I´d hate to be an investor in that company, unless I needed the write off.

I have never bought one personally, but one year for Chanukah, Neil gave me a set so I would stop screwing around with his.

My dad has one. It's legit

I have a blast on it and like the convenience of controlling sound volumes and drum kit settings and all that, but I just love the raw sound of an acoustic set

Great set. Look up TD-30 on YouTube. The module and drum pad sensors are insane. A lot of sensitivity and almost unlimited creativity.

All depends on what you wanna get out of it. If you're just looking for a decent set to still play and maintain your chops and all that without making too much noise, nothing wrong with something cheaper. Now if you're more worried about the sound production and quality and controlling multiple aspects of the kit, then you're better off paying a little extra for something closer to the real thing

Yeah, I came, this dwarfs my $1500 Yamaha.

Looked online found one for 4700 though! =]
