It's an advanced apc 40. But yes these things used correctly can bring some serious creativity in someone

Yeah, exactly. Man I've been fricking around with live and reason for about 7 years. Still don't think I grasp even 50% of the programs.
The device is easy to learn and play. Assign each button to a different clip/loop. use knobs for effects/filters. Ableton is also the easiest to assign midi. The hard part is using live to its full potential by producing and mastering

Yeah. I downloaded the Ableton DAW demo and couldn't make heads or tails of it. I then Googled "Garageband for PC" and Mixcraft 6 came up. Have been using Mixcraft every since.
I'm jelly of the way the kids coming up are thinking about music now.

Yeah, I wish there were Ableton classes somewhere around New Orleans.
