Anyone else go see Mike Shinoda at HOB tonight?

What a great freaking time. Played plenty of Linkin Park stuff. Even riffed with the crowd, joked around, and told some stories.

I know he’s had a hard time, and you can see he’s trying not to take things to seriously and have fun.

Got to hear verses to High Voltage, which I’d assumed would never happen again even with Chester alive. Played Papercut like it was LP and got after Chester’s part. Plenty of crowd sing along parts where Chester would have been. Sweet touch. Also sang Castle of Glass, which was surprising as that’s a Chester song.

There were parts where it was hard for the crowd to keep up with Chester vocally. Those higher notes got rough and a lot of people didn’t even attempt them, including myself. Was kind of funny to hear.
