Anybody go see the psychedlic furs in New orleans last night...

Their first 3 albums are classic post punk music out of London...
The cd world outside is really good as well...but their new cd that came out last year and the first in 20 years is average at best...it lacks that post punk edge that made them so popular on college radio back in the day...

Historically, they play at the Vinyl Music Hall in Pensacola. A bartender I spoke with had no reason why Nola on this tour...have always enjoyed seeing them. I was not going to Tips with the ID and mask requirement in place.

I saw them at Jimmy's on willow in the early 89's they were great and again at the house of blues on there talk talk talk tour...
