Any Will Hoge fans?

I've been recently listening to "The Wreckage" by Will Hoge. It's a great alt-country/alt-pop/rock record with great guitars tones and solid, solid songwriting. He's one of the more respected Nashville rock acts. He wrote "Keep on Dreaming even if it Breaks your Heart" which is a current hit for the Eli Young band. Hoge's version is a hell of a lot better. Better rhythm section and much more soulful vocals.
I just wanted to pass along this review. If you like Tom Petty/Elvis Costello/Buddy Miller type alt-country-rock, you'll love Will Hoge. Check him out!

HUGE Will Hoge fan. I saw him at Stubb's and it was one of the best live shows I've ever seen. He's hilarious, and the show was inside so it was more intimate. At the end, he took the crowd out to the parking lot, gathered everyone into a circle, and played an acoustic version of "The Highway's Home". I had the pleasure of chatting with him that night and he is so humble and appreciative of his fans.

Indeed! I actually played with him at Murphy's in Baton Rouge a hundred years ago. He was playing as "Will and the Bushmen" at that time. He's a great guy. He went running around the lakes and sorrority row and he got lost before the show.

Love Hoge man...
Been a fan for years starting with Carousal..
I prefer his more Rock&Roll stuff, his newer Alt-Country is really good as well...
He seems to be having more success with his new stuff which is great IMO
