He's 86 years old now, but he influenced Jimi Hendrix and Buddy Guy.
He spent some time in New Orleans in the 1950's, where he jammed with T-Bone Walker, Big Joe Turner and Little Richard

Saw him about 10 years ago, Cool guy. Think he is related to Jimi Hendrix somehow.
