Without looking, play the song Applesauce and put in what you think he says after the word "Mango."

I thought:

I feel like a little hottie control.

Haha.

(1)
I listen to songs that I LOVE for days at a time. 200+ times without breaking a sweat. No exaggeration.

(2)
I could have heard Applesauce a hundred more times and I never would have gotten it. I think whatever I hear the first time is what my brain is stuck with until I read the actual lyrics.

I've only listened a few times, but I like what I have heard. I really like Applesauce. Wide Eyed is fricking awesome. Deakin really killed it on that one.

I do. I've only listened to Centipede Hz, but I liked it enough to where I'm gonna give Merriweather* a listen. They have a very unique sound. I can't really think of a band to compare them to.

Off Centipede Hz, I liked:
Moonjock
Rosie Oh
Applesauce
New Town Burnout
Mercury Man

And maybe one other (I listened in my car, and I have to press a button for it to scroll the track names). I didn't hate the rest of the tracks, but the above were my favs. As you can see, it passed my "four song test", and so I have to give it a thumbs up.

*BTW, I love that they named an album Merriweather Post Pavillion. I once got so drunk at MPP that I pissed myself. Another time I got on a hot streak and got digits from like 9 different chicks. Another time I swiped a bushel of asparagus from one of the food stands as they were closing it up** and then tested out the ole arm strength by hurling the individual asparagus sticks into the crowd. Except for the few that I ate.

**This was the "sweetgreen sweetlife festival" and so I guess they were serving salads or something.

MPP is by far their best album.

Anyone who says otherwise is a hipster trying to say "you should have listened to them in 2005 when I did"

I think that Strawberry Jam is great too, and I could see why someone would like it better than MPP. Same with Feels.

Strawberry Jam is my favorite. Crazy me thinking it was my favorite because I enjoyed the most all this time. Turns out I am just a hipster trying to prove I listened to AC back in the day.
