Didn't go. Met him a couple of years ago. He played at a bar one of my friends brothers owns in Lake Charles. Had heard about him prior, and finally saw him there. He was sick as frick, and whoever was playing sax for him killed it. Was blown away by he and the band.
He plays in Lafayette a good bit too; think he has a show here tonight. Might go check it out.

That song is terrible and sounds like cheap 90's ska pop. However, his other live stuff that I watched on YouTube is nothing like it and actually has diverse sounds and soulful lyrics.

He's a guy you don't really listen to a studio recording of, but watch live. He's very impressive.
