Saw them in May of 91 at the Summit in Houston on the Clash of the Titans tour, and also in December of 91 opening for Van Halen on the F.U.C.K. tour at the Centroplex. They kicked arse both times, especially with Van Halen. Van Halen was the most disappointing, horrible big name I've ever seen . AIC blew them off the stage, even if the crowd booed and cat called Layne when he said some derogatory shite about David Duke.
They didn't play anything but their own tunes when I saw them. They were headlining on the Facelift tour at that Cincinnati show in August. Would have killed to see that show. The three songs in the OP and the Queen of the Rodeo were the last four songs of the night.
What's crazy is Queen of the Rodeo and the other songs from their earlier demos sound nothing like the AIC we know and love, other than Layne's voice.

Awesome. Jerry Cantrell is a huge influence for me personally.
