ACM Drummer of the Year

This year the ACM has nominated 5 drummers for "Drummer of the Year" Two of them....Derrick Mixon and Lon Wilson are both from Monroe/West Monroe.
Not bad for a couple of northeast Louisiana boys.

Derek was the drummer in Howard Shaft back in the 90's. Funk band out of the great Louisiana Tech University.

Yes sir amazing band. Jeremy Davis, James Cook (who plays bass for Luke Bryan) Adam Jones (incredible blue eyed soul singer). I used to go see them in Monroe when I could. Always a great show.
