Outkast has jammed more than WSP this tour. They opened up last show with a 22 minute Git Up Git Out rager that featured Type II jams with Andre 3K on the synth and Big Boi on the bongos.

Kill me.

I'm taking a week vacation from the Thursday before to the Weds after specifically for that weekend. If that's the headliners, I may have to reschedule. Rap just isn't my thing and I saw Beck in the 90's during his prime run at Lalapalooza.

Outkast will be great for anyone who has not already seen them and nothing special to anyone who already has.

If they do Voodoo, it will be wild no doubt.

Bonnaroo isn't even about the music anymore. It's so you can say "ah yeah we went to Bonnaroo this summer".

Bonnaroo is a joke now. Crap music, crap venue, crap people.

Glad hangout has reached its max occupancy and cant get any more commercial even though I don't think they are that commercial.

I think they will maintain being a great festival for a long time

There are many issues with the complaints from the residents because they have been running for years now and still can't figure out transportation. But I recently read that they voted in favor of the festival to keep returning.

If Hangout didn't happen to be on the beach it would be Bonnaroo South

Agreed - I didn't shell out the cash last year because the midcard was ultra weak IMO. Rock isn't in the mainstream at all anymore and it'd be easy to land some of the more popular acts out there like Mastodon, Deftones, etc since they're touring this fall.

Also, this:

that traffic was a nightmare... thank god for back roads that ran parallel with the main highway where you could bypass a good amount of traffic

that is the Voodoo norm. They only good part about Voodoo lineups is maybe 1 headliner and the smaller, local acts

What did you hear?

QOTSA will probably be there but I don't think they will be billed as a headliner
