Your Most Hated Characters on The Wire (spoilers)

So I just finished watching the series for a second time. I realized that some of the characters I hated in the first viewing, I now have different opinions about.
I still can't stand:
-The guy that keeps beating and robbing Bubbs
-Officer Eddie Walker (the dickhead cop that breaks Donuts fingers)
-I still can't stand Ziggy
-Clay Davis is an ultimate douche
-Herc for messing so much stuff up (Randy situation in season 4 for example). His humor made him one of favorites the first time around.
-Wee Bay's wife (I'm pretty sure everyone hates her)
-I found the Carcetti story line unbearable the second time around
-Maurice Levy
-McNulty bothered me the second time around even though his "frick you" attitude is understandable
My two favorites are still Bodie and Lester Freeman

Wee Bay's Wife was the absolute worst....I just kept waiting for her to get capped, or at least Namond tell her what the frick was up

I've also recently read both of David Simon's book that the series was based on. I highly recommend them to anyone that couldn't get enough of The Wire. Homicide is based on Simon following the BPD around for a year and The Corner is based on life on the Baltimore streets for a year.

I also forgot how he ran off on Bodie with Snoop and Chris were coming to kill him. Obviously not a true soldier. He also made a lot of jokes about gonorrhea like getting burnt was something to be proud of. Muppet, I forgot all about Poot and agree with you now

McNulty's character is so awesome precisely because he can't stop stepping on his own dick. Dude's a total trainwreck.
One of my favorite scenes in the entire series is when the FBI profiler is reading his profile of the "serial killer" killing all the homeless folks and watching McNulty's face as they describe him to a tee.

I've only watched one time through and I have a really hard time remembering all of the characters names simply b/c there seems to be a million of them. But by far my most hated character was Namond's mom. She was such a bitch. I actually felt bad for Namond, but I guess that was the point.

I liked it better the second time around. When you know what's going to happen you notice a ton of little shite that was skipped over before

I'll give it a second watch at some point. I was watching week to week on Directv so I'll have to either get dvd's or download them.
