Yeti "1000 miles from nowhere" commercial

I was floored when I saw how good this full length commercial was. As far as advertisements go, this is one of the most effective and brilliant I think I've ever seen.
Cinematically, it's georgous, almost like the opening of an HBO show or something. That song cover is killer, too.

I usually hate commercials but love this one. Makes you want to quit your job, pack up and just head out west somewhere.

I hate it because that cover is awful.
That is my favorite song of all time and every time I hear that cover I get irrationally angry.

Like what, a polarizer, or ND, or how about gels, or vasoline on the lens to create haze? Ya know, like every cinematographer has used for decades?
I guess you took exception with the gradients In a couple shots. Who gives a rip.

And I guess the drone shots, they should have spent 100K and rented a helicopter for those?
It's the landscapes that they shot that makes it a beautiful ad. I don't care if the damn thing was shot on an iPhone, if it's compelling, it's OK.
