Sorry to crap on the hate parade, but he was great in Raising Arizona, Leaving Las Vegas and Adaptation. That's 3 more than most actors.
And Cage was in the pointless, shitty remake of The Wicker Man, not The Wicker Man. It's like saying Melanie Griffith was in Lolita or Vince Vaughn was in Psycho.

Apparently, no one on this board has seen Firebirds. He takes bad acting to an entirely new level.

The Rock was an awesome movie, and I thought Cage was pretty good in that role.
Con Air was the worst accent ever. "I just saved your life."

Damn, I just saw Adaptation, and I never would've thought that I could stomach a double dose of Nicolas Cage, much less rave about it. Great flick.

Any movie where he tries an accent.

Or tries to have real hair. Has anyone noticed how far his hairline has receded? Give it up, man!

his best performance was in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High", because I'm pretty sure he didn't say a word. (credited as Nicolas Coppola). "Peggy Sue" was I started thinking he was a complete dolt.
