Will the new James Bond movie "Spectre" be a remake of OHMSS?

I touched on this in the other Bond 24 thread, but the similarities in the teaser poster and the infamous bullet hole when we see Tracy die in OHMSS certainly raise that question.
Also include the fact that a major plot point of this movie is Bond receiving some cryptic message from his past...so they could possibly revist it.
A few news outlets have speculated that could be the case when factor the above in as well as the filming locations.

Not sure if I'm buying it because it was only two films ago that we saw Bond fall in love and lose Vesper. I don't see that plot point playing out again so soon. And not enough people remember/saw OHMSS, so I don't see how revisiting Tracy's death without an entire movie dedicated to it would work. In any event, its going to be a great movie either way.

Most casual Bond fans know he was married once because it was mentioned in a couple of movies after the release of OHMSS. Plus...you don't need to have a whole movie dedicated to Tracy and her relationship with Bond. You can bring his wife's death up in passing conversation and even show it in flashbacks.

Nah, they wouldn't be remaking OHMSS and I can't see them bringing back Tracy (or an equivalent) for this movie.

I think the imagery is a nod to the past and to the fans. In my mind, Bond hasn't been married in this storyline, and I can't see them going that way. They may kill a girl off in similar fashion, but it won't be Tracy.

Wasn't the octopus the symbol is Spectre? Look at the bullet hole again.

Yeah, it's forming their logo but, like the OP noted, the imagery is very similar to the bullet hole when Tracy was killed.
I still don't think we'll be seeing Tracy in this movie but the similar imagery was definitely intentional, if for no other reason than to get message boards speculating.

I agree with you there and I don't see them killing another woman Bond loves considering they've already done that with Vesper.

I feel like Craig's legacy as Bond will be looked at differently if all of his films just retread older Bond stories and characters.
